About the ISTSS Annual Meeting
The ISTSS Annual Meeting is a uniqueopportunity to learn the latest in traumatic stress research, hear aboutclinical insights and innovations, earn continuing education credits, andnetwork with colleagues.
The 2014 meeting in Miami will be the largestgathering of professionals dedicated to trauma treatment, education, researchand prevention. More than 100 symposia, workshops, panel discussions, cases andmedia presentations will be presented on a wide variety of topics related totraumatic stress.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Describe childhood trauma and its short- andlong-term effects for individuals, families, and communities.
Discuss various developmental pathwaysthrough which childhood trauma may lead to longer-term mental and physicalhealth problems.
Formulate ways to engage individuals,families, and communities to prevent and treat the consequences of childhoodtrauma.
Special Spanish-language Track in 2014
In collaboration with Argentine Society of Psycho Trauma (SAPsi) and SpanishSociety of Psychotrauma, Traumatic Stress and Dissociation (SEPET+D), ISTSSwill offer a special track of programming in Spanish.
