The EACR-sponsored "2nd Anticancer Agents Congress: Targeting Cancer Stem Cell" will take place on 21-24th November 2013, in Papillon Belvil Hotel, Antalya (Turkish Riviera),TURKEY. As the local organising association (MOKAD, Association for Molecular Cancer Research in Turkey), it will be a great honour and pleasure to welcome you to Antalya for this international congress. This meeting aims to bring all kinds of anti-cancer agents researchers together and discuss recent achievements in the field of basic researchon anti-cancer agent development and their mechanism(s) of action at both molecular and cellular level. A workshop on cancer stem cell will be organised on the last day of the congress. The main theme of the congress will particularly be the targeting of the cancer stem cells that are considered to be responsible for the resistance to therapy and the recurrence of cancer. We hope that this meeting will provide the opportunity to exchange your ideas and experience with colleagues,contributing to better connections among participants from across the world. Thanks to the support by EACR, we will be making an EACR award for the best poster presented at the meeting. The meeting will be held at a delightful seaside holiday resort with suitable congress facilitiesin the enchanting and sunny city of Antalya, situated on the Turkish Riviera, in the south of Turkey.
